Better to have one truly great youth team product once every 20 years than 20 good to mediocre ones every year or two.

I think people lose sight of the fact that senior football isn't about making the most out of the youth players on the books. I don't get why there's such a hang-up about academies not being successful if teams don't have loads of youth team products promoted into the first team, as though that's what a football club's success should be measured against!
