I wasn’t anti-Morata at the start of this season and I agree his troubles aren’t all his own making, but I see too much from him that annoys me to defend him. The main thing is, it’s him and his people who have been pushing for the move, so that’s swung it.

Can’t argue too much with that analysis, I suppose the positive here is at least they’re not compounding the situation by refusing to acknowledge and resolve it in this transfer window, so that’s something. But you’re right, it shouldn’t have got to this stage in the first place really.
