I have some sympathy with Jose at United in that he was trying to instil a League winning mentality into the club.. a few poor results and Ole will get the same. With the power now with the players and their criticism averse lifestyles, old school gaffers now seem redundant, so not sure where Sarri sits in relation to this. All round the standard has dropped in the PL over time. We run around a lot and being good at football is no longer enough. Look at the starting elevens of the 2008 CL Final teams and who from us and Utd now would get anywhere near.
