You have to be a top coach to mastermind a 2-1 win at Spurs this season
Joking aside, I wonder if the club have looked at him as a replacement when Conte goes in the summer. I suppose CL football might have a lot to do with whether he’d be happy to leave Juve though
If you believe the press, we went to him before Conte, but he wasn't interested. He's obviously a very decent coach - I was jesting though, based on conversations in the last few days. In any case, it would end the same way as Conte is going if he did come!
Had to laugh at 5 Live last night, Spurs fan calling to say Pochettino had to go if they didn’t win the FA Cup and Juve fans moaning on social media that Allegri wouldn’t have needed to change things if he hadn’t have got it so wrong in the first place!
definitely a good manager, but as before, most of the success Juve have had under him came from what he inherited from Conte.
if we had lichsteiner and sandro as our wing backs we'd be considerably better off....
No doubt. We'd also be better off if the manager reacted to how a game was going and made changes, preferably with more than 5 mins to go.
I only realised yesterday that he'd spoken about the subs/changes:
Conte couldn't make any changes any earlier because he'd sent all the subs in the other direction looking for a white flag!
We would have got absolutely whacked if we'd been more open, I'm sure if Kante had been fit we would've been far more threatening but when he was left with the midfield he was thenit was too much of a risk.. I'm certain he still wanted to win... even if it was based on counter attacking... goal difference could also be a factor for us too, there's no benefit in my eyes on playing ok and losing 4..5..6 goals which that City team is more than capable of doing.
... if only we were more conservative against those footballing giants Bournemouth and Watford
You keep saying we would have got whacked. How do you know we wouldn’t have scored three or four?
