For me as a man of Spanish extraction it’s just giving me flashbacks. In 2008 when we first heard the expression tiki-Taka it was a very exciting team, had two direct quick forwards in Villa and Torres (I know) then Del Bosque took over and it took him a few years to develop that into this possession is absolutely everything malarkey and it’s been crap ever since. 1000 passes in a game you lose without having a decent shot on goal. Chelsea just seem to me to be going that way. I think as soon as the bloody false number nine appears you know that is a manager scrabbling around in desperation.
The problem is we don't have many goal scorers. His Napoli team scored lots of goals and we know he wanted a new striker in the summer.
Need to give him a decent shot in transfer market, its not like we were great last year and we haven't really brought anyone in.
I'd bring Tammy back in Jan, can't be any worse than what we have and gives us another option.
I do think we should be more direct and we seem to be morphing into Wengers Arsenal rather than a Spanish great.

1) Will he change his philosophy (EG false 9 / Kante out of position) to try and keep 4th place? (I think no he won't, he'll stick with his philosophy.)
2) Will the board buy him the players he wants (like they did Jorginho) to suit his philosophy? (History tells us no.)
