Thought we had a proper player on our hands at the start of this season with him, but I dont even want us to sign him permanently now. (Providing we'd be allowed)
He’s a strange one isn’t he, he’s obviously a technically talented player who doesn’t really do much wrong but he also doesn’t really seem to add anything. He doesn’t score, he doesn’t defend, he doesn’t assist. Just feels like a wasted space in the team for someone who might not be as good a footballer/team player, but can actually add more overall as an individual.
I think he'd be more useful as the holding midfielder, but still I'm not sure I'd have him starting over jorginho. So 40m+ would be an expensive back up/squad player. Not worth buying imo.
