13 times we've conceded a goal between 45-56mins.

Sarri's half time team talks working well then.

That stat is basically worthless without any others to give it some context

Well if we were conceding 13 goals every 11 minutes, if my maths is correct, we'd be conceding over 100 goals a season!

Clearly how we start the 2nd half as a team is a problem.

But we’re not.
My point is, how does that compare with the amount of goals we concede in other parts of the game? What percentage of our goals against, are conceded in that time? How does it compare to other teams?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying the way we’ve started the second half in pretty much every away League game we’ve played in 2019 is not a cause for concern, I said it myself yesterday without knowing any particular stats.

Apparently, the plan was to stay 0-0 until the 65th minute.
FFS, then why start with RLC, CHO, Willian and Hazard as a centre forward?
Surely, you play a 5-4-1?
Giroud as a striker, to help hold the ball up?
Something like this perhaps?
Zappacosta, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Christensen, Emerson.
Kovacic, Kante, Luiz, Barkley.
Giroud.

Who’d he be holding the ball up for?

We had counter attacks yesterday which unfortunately weren’t made the most of, by the various attacking players we had on the pitch.

Sarri would have got absolutely slated playing so negatively. Arguably his biggest mistake yesterday was not putting on Giroud once we went behind, but I don’t get all the false nine vitriol, personally.

The team he picked to start was not designed to keep a clean sheet, away to Liverpool. That is the point of my post.
It’s pointless telling the press one thing even though the team wasn’t picked with 0-0 in mind. If it was, then that makes him a bigger pillock than he already is. As I have said in a number of previous posts, he doesn’t know how to play away to the better teams.

I just find it strange how you appear to think you’ve always got all the answers, which you’ll never to be able to back up yet put across with such unshakeable belief.
Some of the best managers and teams in world football have struggled to get a win at Anfield over the past couple of years, the same way many have tried and failed at ours. Sarri’s managed one more win at Anfield than most put together, so forgive me not ridiculing him and pretending I know better.
