Transfer ban

Who thinks it’s actually a blessing in disguise. Almost force us to bring through the James’ and Mounts. It will also ease the pressure on a manager who has been asked to totally change the playing style (without a pre season) and bring home silverware. We are miles behind the top two in personnel so the stick he has got has been extremely harsh.
Hoping he wins the EL and a 3rd place in the league.
Hoping he will be given time next season to coach his way.
Think the breakthrough is regular starts for Rueben in the 8 role for Jorginho to flourish and maybe in that aspect he persevered with Barclay and Kovetic for too long.
All in all, think it is a successful first season for Sarri

Yeah, quite happy with the transfer ban if I’m honest. Will hinder us short term, but could help bring through the likes of Tamori, Mount, Ampadu, James and DaSilva...if you add them to Loftus-Cheek, Christensen and Hudson-Odoi we’d have a decent young core to our squad and save our money for big superstar signings rather than players like Drinkwater and Zappacosta.

A transfer ban of 2 windows can never be a good thing because of the restrictions it brings. What we need is a manager that can buy and introduce key youngsters. I'm very happy Sarri has seen fit to keep RLC, CHO and Ampadu in and around the first team. Many other managers would have chosen to use the like of Moses and Drinkwater instead of the 3 mentioned. With or without the transfer ban I'd like to see Reece James, Tamori and Tammy given a promotion...at a stretch Mason Mount too.

There are masses of options open to Sarri and I want him to continue for another season. Reaching 2 finals, securing top 4 and giving youngsters a fair go is worthy of at least another season, surely? I couldn't give a monkeys he smokes dog ends, never wears a suit, writes notes, doesn't celebrate with players/fans, looks like a tramp, doesn't put his arm around players he doesn't play etc. The bigger picture is we've progressed on what we saw last season...give him a decent striker and we may even ice a cake fairly soon.
