I thought he was good, then Morata came on and the difference was so noticeable, movement, touch and link up...

To be fair to Giroud, he hasn’t had long here, but I hope that’s Morata fit for a while.

I think Giroud did well considering lack of sharpness etc. and no doubt his presence and positive display had an effect on Morata, who suddenly looked a bit more like his old self in his little cameo.
The mere fact Morata now doesn’t have to do that role all on his own, every minute of every single match, is a good thing.

I thought he had a very good start, could see he was a bit rusty, but did the basic things well and brought in others as you say.

Useful to keep Morata on his toes as he knows there's a genuine alternative now.
