Just another point re:Wigan as well, I’m not sure what the argument is there. Wigan played not dissimilar to how we did but got the result due to a combination of factors going in their favour. So I don’t know if you’re saying we should have done what Wigan did, cos that would seem contradictory to everything else you’re saying, but either way their method of beating City was to sit back, try not to concede and hit them on the break, so it could be argued that Conte saw that and thought that a better team playing that way might have actually worked.
