That would be superb

Is a cnut. I wish Cech was still our keeper rather than the over rated dislike-able piece of excrement we currently have in goal.

He does have a tendency to come across as a bit of a cnut.

I'm praying a bid comes in for him this summer, so we can replace him with allison.

I fear him going on a free next season and us buying an average GK on the cheap instead.

Thinking about it, who was the last CFC first team starter every week that was so generally disliked by us supporters, like he is?

I can't think of many. My least favourite player ever.

I still rate him as a very good keeper.

Not really interested in what players/managers have to say anymore because it's 99% codswallop.

I have no issue with us keeping him whatsoever.

I wouldn’t miss him giving away penalties all the time.

I would much rather have players out there that I feel a connection with, not saying I expect them to stay here forever or get a Chelsea tattoo or anything, but I think you can always tell which ones actually care about the club and which ones are going through the motions.

I'm far from saying he's perfect mate but I feel he's one of the very best in the world atm.

I honestly don't read what players may or may not say anymore. Just not worth my time in days of the pampered footballer. Actions actually speak quite loud imo...I've read, after bad defeats, that Tibo is one of the few that actually applauds the travelling fans - I would play that against a few written words that may or may not have been lost in translation.

Stamford Bridge hasn't been a happy place bar the odd trophy for a while now. Even during the CL season we were all over the shop and divided! Playing for us can't be too much fun tbh.

I blame people like him for the atmosphere around the club. There’s still plenty of footballers around who give a shit and have some respect for the club and fans they’re playing for.

If he wants to leave, he can go, maybe we’ve just been spoilt with having a genuinely top class keeper like Cech in his prime before (and even Cudicini prior to that who you can tell has a connection with the club) but I’ve always been able to take or leave Courtois to be honest. There’s plenty as good or better out there. Acting like he’s done us a favour by playing here all these years. He’s the type of player who puts me off going.

The club made the big mistake, of loaning him to a top European club for three consecutive seasons. I think it was clear from the beginning that he didn’t want to come here after that, as his children were settled in Madrid. He has seen his contract out to the penultimate season giving Chelsea the option of selling him now or letting him have his final season here.
A top keeper imo, and I for one think it is a poor move to get Allison. Would sooner have Butland if we decide to cash in on Courtois.

I’d rather have Dave Beasant at his age now

[^] I met Lurch once. Really nice bloke.

[^] I used to play football against his son back when he was still playing for us. Always came across as a nice bloke.

A few of us met him in our end in Moscow. Bet you’d never catch big-nose doing that in 15-20 years time.
