Fabregas/Hudson-Odoi

There’s a few issues raised there - I’m not defending the club’s transfer policy outright by any means, I’m just saying that it should never come down to a choice of having to sell Pedro and Willian or keeping Hudson-Odoi. It’d be mad of the club to boil it down to that decision and I don’t think they would or should. I don’t think anyone would win in either (unlikely) scenario, including CHO himself.

Who are the others really thriving over there, other than Sancho? Funny that the thread’s called Fabregas as I seem to remember English teams scrambling around trying to get small, technically gifted Spanish players from La Liga academies around the time Cesc broke through at Arsenal but it doesn’t necessarily follow that because of one success story, the others are going to follow the same pattern.
There’s very little I can see that suggests a Bayern side still playing much older players than Willian/Pedro ahead of young players more advanced than CHO, is a better option for him at this stage than staying here and trying to break through over the next 18 months.
We don’t owe any young player anything, if he wants to issue ultimatums (and there’s no suggestion he is doing so or will do so) then he can do what Solanke did under similar circumstances and see if he fares much better.
