will people dare to criticise the real reason why we are where we are?

It’s not Sarri’s fault, it’s not José or Conte’s either, there’s a clue for you

You can’t sell a squad.
But you can sack a manager, who, since having his system worked out, and why it took so long is beyond me, continues to play the same starting eleven, as often as possible.

The club gave him Jorginho, Sarri continues to play him. Because of that, we have lost Fabregas, the one creative midfielder in the squad.

He continues to play Alonso, because, as he said, he can be dangerous at set pieces. He is shit.

He continues to play Luiz, who is a defensive liability, but can hit precision 50/60 yard passes.

He continues to play the best defensive midfielder, in the world, as an attacking right sided midfielder/ winger. Why, what logical reason is there?

He continues to play both Willian and Pedro when it is clear their best days are behind them, they both try, but that’s about it.

He continues to leave a centre forward out of the team, to play Hazard as a false nine. That is just so wrong.

Yesterday, he picked the wrong players and system, to play against Arsenal. He is unable to be flexible.
Needing three goals in the second half, he inexcusably made no changes. When he did make a change, we were still two down, after the 60th minute, and he sent on Barkley to replace Kovacic.

So yes, you can criticise the players if you want, but to say it is not the manager’s fault, is wrong.

You can buy and sell players though and that’s what the club has been doing for years now, regardless of the manager, so they have to take responsibility when that total lack of cohesive planning means we’re constantly in transition.
The club then constantly and consistently sack the head coaches they employ to try and make sense of the mess they make, including successful ones.

They knew what they were getting when they hired Sarri, and if they didn’t then they’re incompetent. If they didn’t want what he offers, they should have stuck with the last one. But despite the fact him being almost the polar opposite to Conte in pretty much every single way, Conte came to the same conclusion about the players that Sarri has (judging by the latest interview) so that should speak volumes about the bigger picture.

No striker. NO STRIKER.

It's absolutely bonkers. Abraham on loan. Bats on loan. Morata dropped. Giroud on the bench because he can't play 90 mins.

It's the board and Sarri.

I don’t think Sarri can be blamed for the striker situation

Sarri doesn't rate what he has and prefers Eden there. That's very telling and suggests Sarri will be taking that to boardroom meetings. This is partly why I stand by Sarri...I too dislike our forward line and share his lack of confidence in them.

But this is what we had when he agreed to earn bags more money for agreeing to manage them.

Yep but I'm sure a budget and some say with how to spend it may have been on the table too. At least that's what I hope.
