Am I right in saying the ban would be suspended in the meantime if we took to it to CAS?
No idea but normally I'd assume that to be the case as if you win your appeal you wont have lost anything. This time? Not so sure.
Edit: Just reading on the Telegraph that an appeal with CAS would allow us to sign players.
I can see why so many want the ban to stand but I'd rather CFC not be restricted by this ban. As a matter of course, I think certain players (Tammy in particular) have done enough to get the nod and step up. The ban should be neither here nor there with the young lads in mind.
I do fear Higuain will get another spell ban or no ban, not what I want tbh because I see that as a blocker re Tammy. Happy to have Zouma back...Cahill out. If you want to go full on then Luiz out for Tamori is also another option and even though I adore David Luiz it's a move I could make sense of. Mount for Drinkwater...also Reece James has done enough to find a place. Plenty of options to be had but don't expect too many honours for a while. If Hazard does get on his bike (99% sure he will) then I'd be happy to have Zaha in as CHO matures.
