Your opinion is always respected, J.
I see Frank as having lived his career in dressing rooms full of big egos. His record also demands respect of the players. At the moment some may feel bigger than Sarri (for example) at Chelsea but nobody in that dressing would be bigger than (fat) Frank
I guess the difference between us is you're protective of a Chelsea legend and want the time to be right, that's also the understandable view of many. I think the time is perfect with the ban in place because it cuts any manager some slack to get settled in. If reports are to be believed Frank will have some proper Chelsea men around him too. We know success will be hard to come by this coming season so with the expectation at an all-time low under RA I see no better time. It's a gamble but it's one I would take on because the reward is very high and could stand us up for many years...failure leaves us where we are today...always a manager down. Add to that the buzz (it's gone as you know) and the whole of the fanbase uniting behind the new management team. I personally see alternatives but nothing that creates the togetherness and patience when we will need it most - during the ban.
