I don't know what to say about all this fuss with the chants. Maybe I am reading it wrong, but I really don't care what the West Ham fans sing at us. I can understand that they were happy to beat us, and whilst it is a very over used word, it is banter. Is it really worth making such a fuss over? Do gay people really care? I don't know, I am happy to be put right on this and if it really is a big problem for us to call them pikeys and them to call us rent boys then ban it by all means, but I just can't feel any real anger about it.

Soon booing will be outlawed as it offends.

I think it’s pretty unfunny and childish for fully grown men to be calling each other such puerile names, but it’s so sad that it doesn’t really like it’s worth getting worked up about really.
However, I suppose we’re not really the ones to be deciding whether we it’s offensive or not

I think part of it has been stirred by a journalist (poor one at that) who only has a focus on a couple of areas (jewish and gypsy) and refuses point blank to call out any abuse we receive. I can understand why these chants should stop.

However our fans have rightly mentioned about the "rent boy" abuse we get as this journo wont condemn any stick coming our way. Therefore our fans are making noise on this to take away from the weekly comments by the poor journo who damages our name.
