Football is all about the money. I'm fine with something else replacing the champions league/Europa league but it has to be done on sporting merit. All this founders club stuff is bullshit.
It's so utterly shite, I can't quite find the words
We only have to go back to last week with the attack on the RM bus to know that football has been dying a slow death for many years. A £22,000 fine ffs. No meaningful attempts to rid the game of diving and cheating, token punishments around racism and a general lack of any leadership. Didn't see anyone jumping in to help Bury out. This latest fiasco is a bi-product of all that has gone before. Not even got to the World Cup in Qatar.
That all said, I feel very flat as a Chelsea fan, and wonder if I will give a fuck tmrw evening. I won't want to, but no doubt will.
