Stan Collymore and Mark Saggers discussed the situation on Talksport last night - here it is if you missed it http://talksport.com/radio/listen-again/1384196400

I would like to know if there is anyone out there who thinks changing the name would actually bring any benefit?

As I have stated in another place repeatedly, I fear that the vast silent majority of our transient Premiership support care less about the name change than they do about being talked about on MotD, seeing Stevie Gee and the like and even come dancing on the tele than what we are called. They are the nut we have to crack to retain the name!

CTWD needs to change the emphasis of their message to involve this 'majority' segment rather than preaching to the minority of traditionalists.

Pleas to the FA and Football League now appear as a desperate final crawl following a poorly planned campaign to date that has achieved little other than enforcing the attitudes of the already converted.

As far as im aware there is simply nothing to discus as there is no proof changing the name will bring any more money?

If the Dr could come to the fans and say changing the name to Hull Tigers will generate £200m over the next 5 years then we could sit and talk about it.

The very fact that Dr Allam Cannot and will not discuss his working out of this proves it simply is just his desire.
