No but then if he were to stay three years (suspend disbelief please ) and you looked at the ups and downs over that time, you would expect that current regression to end and things to get better again, especially as you’d expect more change in playing personnel in that time.
The club have obviously never done that under Roman, they’ve looked at short term form and trends and made decisions based on that.
Sometimes you have to go back before you can go forward. City being an example.
It all depends if the club are committed to him implementing what he’s trying to, if they have any doubts about it at all they might as well call it a day now, but then I think still being in the race for top four and in all the Cups, with no obvious replacement, is what they’re looking at.
