Nobody knows what’s going to happen, you can make predictions based on the evidence available but you still don’t actually know the future until it plays out.

I appreciate for those who never wanted the change in philosophy in the first place that it’s easier to want to stop it in its tracks but presumably the club wanted it, given they appointed him in the first place, so to abandon it without giving him and it the best possible chance to succeed would be yet another failure to add into their extensive catalogue of them.
